When you master the art of managing multiple passions, you open the door for more opportunities to explore many worlds that lead to a fulfilling future. Today, I’m sharing 7 focus areas to consider working on so you can manage having multiple passions. Are you ready for them? Keep reading!
1. TIME MANAGEMENT
Being conscious of time is an important boundary to help you become more focused, intentional and ultimately successful with managing multiple passions. Although we are all given 24 hours, what you do with the time you are given can either catapult you or set you back.
Communication is key. Yes, you’ve heard it before. Now let it sink in. The ability to communicate is to exchange information for a desired outcome. When you learn how to speak, you become more effective!
3. TEAMWORK AND DELEGATING
We cannot express enough how important it is to have community and support. Working together with a group of individuals who are like-minded can push you closer to successfully managing your day to day tasks. When the work becomes more than you can handle, but remains important to accomplish, delegate. Allow someone from your support group to step in and assist with tasks that can be entrusted and shared.
4. ORGANIZATION AND PLANNING
Schedule your tasks so that you can be intentional about focusing on specific tasks to maximize your productivity when you’re managing multiple tasks. Time blocking is one of my favorite methods to accomplish this! To time block, simply set aside a specific amount of time to accomplish a task. Once that time period is complete, schedule the next task for a certain amount of time. You can also do this well in advance and time block for a day, week, or month at a time.
5. DECISION MAKING
Knowing when to say ‘yes’ and when to say ‘no’ is going to be pivotal for any multifaceted person. Decision making will make the difference between someone who is purposeful and someone who is just busy.
Although this focus area is second to last, faith is foundational. Without faith, your work can come to nothing. Believing in the work and shifting your mindset can move mountains. Most importantly, rely on God’s strength for the ability and the will to obtain and manage what it will take to be an individual with multiple passions.
We don’t believe in work, work, work, work, work nonstop. For us, rest is vital. Allow yourself to take a break, recharge, refresh and become inspired again so that the quality of the way you manage multiple passions does not fade.
Making considerations for these focus areas can help you TREMENDOUSLY to be a better manager of multiple passions! You’re very much so equipped. You actually do have what you need. So here’s my question to you.
WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH WHAT YOU HAVE?
