Don’t Put Off Tomorrow What You Can Do Today!

It was when my husband challenged my complacency that I really began to reflect and realize that it was ME that held me back. Today, I’m challenging you to get out of your own comfort zones so you can thrive and serve the world the way you were designed to do so. You ready? Keep reading!

…TOMORROW. That’s what I would tell myself when I would look through my list of goals. Then tomorrow came and nothing happened. That word ‘tomorrow’ became a crutch for me, because it helped me to avoid the reality that I had not made the progress I wanted to make with my goals.

Even though I was unsatisfied with how far I had come since creating that list of goals, I was complacent. I wasn’t hungry enough for something to change. I found myself going through the motions with no resolve. I needed a boost to help me reset and get me focused again on going after what belonged to me.

“I hear what you’re saying. So what are you going to do about it?”

I flipped the switch after my husband presented this question to me because I had complained about what wasn’t happening one too many times. That question challenged my intent, my drive, and my focus. I had been cheating my own self from breaking through to the other side of my own potential. I knew I needed to make a decision for NOW, because NOW was all that was guaranteed.
