Taking The Next Steps With Your Goals

So far, we’ve shared how to figure out what you want in life, do the research to create a bigger mission and vision, re-create your goals to be more specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound, and how to track and measure the progress you’ve made with your goals. So, what comes next? What happens after you’ve put in the work to move the needle forward? Naturally, the next thing that happens is a response to the effort you’ve put in. Are you prepared to hear no? What will you do after you hear yes? Is the progress you’ve made aligned with what is most fulfilling for you? Here are a few steps you can take next to help you respond correctly about your goals:

  • Get prepared, and make room for what you’ve been working towards.
  • Figure out a way to respond when plans fail.
  • Decide what the next steps will be when you achieve your plan.
  • Learn when to say yes, and when to say no.
  • Put a plan in place to help you stay focused on your goals.

If you want to know more about how next steps can be incorporated into your every day life, check your emails or come back to the main blog page over the next couple months! I’ll be breaking these down and sharing more information on how we respond to the expected and the unexpected so we don’t lose hope while working towards our goals!
